I'm Andy, a front end developer with 10 years experience both in-house and agency. I've worked as part of larger teams, as team lead and also as a single FE dev collaborating with other team disciplines (backend, design, UX) both remotely and in the same location. I'm familiar with and successful in working to project deadlines and following project tracking via ticketing systems, regular standups and sprint planning sessions/backlog grooming and regular demos to stakeholders, in addition to maintaining code standards and processes via code reviews, git processes and unit testing.
In my roles I've gained experience working with various JS frameworks and styling methods, plenty of experice integrating with different APIs and producing accessible, responsive & performant websites/web apps.
I've become adept at creating component frameworks that integrate with a CMS, this requires breaking down designs to component level, building them to work in isolation and as part of a page, creating robust code that can deal with changeable data, be that missing data or content that is very different than expected from the designs due to changing client needs or due to internationalisation.
